Tailored Tenors always consist of 2 of our highly experienced professional singers. We use bespoke backing tracks of the highest quality through our own PA system and Speakers. This makes us much more affordable than hiring a full band and also makes us portable during your day. For example we can sing as the Bride walks down the aisle and easily move and set up for the Wedding Breakfast or Evening Celebration at a different part of the venue.
How long do you perform for?
We tailor make packages to suit every occasion so we are happy to create a performance time based around your needs. However, typically our evening performance usually consist of 2 x 40 minute sets with an encore.
Do you do Singing Waiters?
Yes! It’s one of our most popular and favourite services that we provide!
How do the Singing Waiter packages work?
Our Singing Waiter Packages can be as simple or as dramatic as you wish! Some of our past events have included:
Waiters getting into an argument before bursting out into song.
A waiter deciding to make a speech about his love for the Bride before being joined by the other Waiter/Singer to suddenly entertain the guests.
Electricians in boiler suits entering the dining room to tell the guests that there’s been an electrical fault and as such the whole building will have to be evacuated. Before chaos ensues the boiler suits are whipped off and the Tailored Tenors are revealed and begin a serenade!
We are more than happy to discuss any personal ideas you might have, no matter how elaborate!
Can you learn a song specifically for my occasion?
As part of what makes us unique it would be our pleasure. Every Wedding and party is different and as such we thrive on learning a song of your choice to make your day that little bit extra special. Whether this be a song for your first dance or just one of your personal favourites to be included in our set. As long as a quality backing track for the requested song is available we will add it to our set list at no extra cost.
Do you require a break and if so for how long?
Typically, during our evening sets we usually take a 15/20 minute break. However, should your event require us to sing through an extended period of time it is something we are happy to discuss.
For Weddings, do you require a meal?
We never demand a meal as we know how costly Weddings can be. However, should you be able to provide a meal (Especially on all day Gold Package events) it would be welcomed!
Do you provide background music at times when you’re not singing?
We are more than happy for you to connect your mp3 player through our PA system between sets should you wish.
How long does it take you to set up?
Set up can be very quick should the event require it. However, typically it takes us approximately 40 minutes to set our equipment up and do a short sound check.
Do I have to pay a deposit and how can we pay you?
We require a non returnable deposit of 20% (of the full fee) via internet transfer which secures your date. The remainder of the fee can be paid up until 5 working days before the day itself, again via internet transfer.
What styles of music do you sing?
We cover an extensive range of styles including Pop, Rock, Swing, Rat Pack, Jazz, Soul and Musical Theatre.
Can we use your microphones and speakers for speeches?
Yes! If you provide us with the times during the day that you’ll need to use the microphones we’ll make sure they are available and live.
Do you have a Song List i can view?
We do! Please feel free to request a copy of our ever growing list of songs and we’ll email it over or post it out to you.
Can we choose your set list?
In our experience we have learned to adjust our set list throughout our performances to suit the mood of the audience at each particular event. Therefore we create our own set lists but we encourage you to look through our song list and tell us which tracks you would like included.
Do you provide lights?
We don’t provide lights for the evening but we’re happy to liaise with the venue and request use of their lighting system during our set should you wish.
Is your equipment PAT tested and are you insured?
All of our equipment is PAT tested and a certificate can be provided on request. As part of Equity, the Actors Union we are insured up to the value of £10,000,000.
